My Purpose and Mission

My purpose for writing Samson's Tail was to educate and support the DAWGS Prison Program.  This amazing nonprofit organization rescues dogs from shelters and places them in prisons.  The dogs live in a cell with their handlers and are trained all basic commands, crate trained, house trained, and are well socialized before being adopted to their forever family.  I was so inspired by this program and all it does for dogs and inmates that I decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from each book sold to them!
